Toronto to Bangalore flights

one stop

Toronto to Bangalore is a one-stop route. Nobody flies it nonstop, so the practical connections are Abu Dhabi on Etihad, Dubai on Emirates, Doha on Qatar Airways, or Delhi on a single Air India ticket. Farearc books all four on consolidator fares. Message us on WhatsApp, call 1-833-330-0574 toll free, or ask for a callback, and a person prices it. From our desk

Bangalore is the Canadian route where the customer often knows more about flying than we expect. A lot of this traffic is people in tech and their families who have done the trip several times and already have a hub preference. So we open with a different question: what went wrong last time. That answer picks the routing faster than a fare comparison does.

If the complaint was the layover, Emirates through Dubai or Etihad through Abu Dhabi, both under two hours on the ground. If it was a lost bag or a missed connection, Air India through Delhi on one ticket, slowest of the four, and the only one where a single airline owns the problem end to end. If it was cost, we work the shoulder months instead of the hubs, because the calendar moves this fare more than the routing does.

The option we handle with care is Air Canada’s Swiss connection through Zurich. Swiss only began flying Zurich to Bangalore in October 2026, and a first-season long-haul is exactly the kind of segment that gets re-timed quietly. We will book it when it prices well. We will also re-check the schedule before departure rather than assume a new route held its timetable.

Which connection

One stop from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to BengaluruAn arc from YYZ to AUH, then on to BLR.AUHAbu DhabiYYZTorontoBLRBengaluruone stop via Abu Dhabi

There is no nonstop between Toronto and Bangalore. Air India’s only North American nonstop into Kempegowda leaves San Francisco. Air Canada does not fly to Bangalore on its own aircraft at all, so where you see its code on a Bangalore itinerary, somebody else is operating every segment.

What you have instead is four one-stops that land within about two hours of each other. Emirates through Dubai is quickest at roughly eighteen hours ten minutes, Etihad through Abu Dhabi about eighteen forty, both with layovers under two hours. Qatar Airways through Doha runs nineteen and a half with three hours in Doha. Air India sells the whole thing on one ticket through Delhi at around twenty hours and a layover of an hour and forty, the slowest of the four and the simplest to manage when something goes wrong.

Air Canada also sells a Swiss connection through Zurich at about twenty hours. We treat that one carefully. Zurich to Bangalore only started in October 2026, and first-season long-haul segments move.

Baggage

Air India, on the single-ticket Delhi routing: one bag at 23kg on Economy Value, two at 23kg on Classic and Flex, cabin 7kg plus a personal item. The allowance carries through to the Delhi to Bangalore domestic leg on the same ticket.

Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways. The allowance follows the operating carrier and varies by fare bucket. We have not verified each carrier’s Canada to India figure independently, so we confirm yours with the airline in writing before you pay.

Bangalore traffic skews toward people who fly this often, which usually means more laptops and less luggage than the North India lanes.

When to book

Diwali and the December holidays are still the peak, but a gentler one than on the Delhi or Amritsar lanes. Bangalore’s Canadian traffic is work travel and family visits rather than wedding parties, so it misses the November to February surge that Punjab gets.

June to September, the monsoon, and the January to February shoulder are the soft windows. On this route the gap between a soft month and a peak month is usually wider than the gap between hubs.

Why Toronto to Bangalore is a one-stop route

Bangalore is well connected to the Gulf and to Europe and thinly connected to North America. Air India’s single North American nonstop into Kempegowda operates from San Francisco. Air Canada does not fly there on its own aircraft at all, which is worth knowing if you see its code on an itinerary: every segment is being operated by somebody else.

So this route is a choice between hubs rather than a choice between nonstop and connecting. Emirates through Dubai comes in around eighteen hours ten minutes and Etihad through Abu Dhabi around eighteen forty, both with layovers under two hours. Qatar Airways through Doha runs about nineteen and a half. Air India sells the whole trip on one ticket through Delhi at roughly twenty hours.

Comparing the four hubs

On paper they are close. In practice they behave differently, and the difference is mostly about what happens when something goes wrong.

The Gulf routings are quick and the layovers are short. Efficient, and also tight. A short connection is fine when the inbound is on time and unforgiving when it is not. Alone with hand luggage, that risk is small. With children, elderly parents, or a wheelchair request, we would rather add two hours on the ground than gamble the day.

The Air India Delhi routing is the slowest and the most robust. One ticket, one carrier, one baggage allowance from Toronto through to Bangalore. If the Delhi connection slips, Air India rebooks you, and the Delhi to Bangalore sector runs often enough that a slip costs hours rather than a night.

How we book it

Farearc has no search engine and no checkout. You tell us the route, the dates you can move between, who is travelling and what you are carrying. A person prices it against what we can actually get that day, and we tell you the date the quote was priced so you know how fresh it is.

Reach us on WhatsApp, on 1-833-330-0574 toll free from Canada or the US, or through the callback form. We answer 24/7, whatever your time zone.

Questions people actually ask

Is there a nonstop from Toronto to Bangalore?

No. Air India's only nonstop from North America into Bangalore leaves San Francisco, and Air Canada does not fly to Bangalore at all. Every Toronto to Bangalore itinerary connects once. Four separate one-stops land within about two hours of each other, through Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha or Delhi, so you have a genuine choice rather than one option to take or leave.

Which hub should I pick?

Dubai or Abu Dhabi for the shortest total time, both around eighteen hours with a layover under two. Delhi on Air India if you want everything on one ticket and one baggage allowance, at about twenty hours. Doha sits between them.

Does my bag get checked through to Bangalore?

Yes on a single ticket, which is how we book this route whenever the fare allows. On a single Air India ticket through Delhi the international allowance carries onto the domestic leg as well. If a cheaper option needs two separate tickets we will say so plainly, because it means collecting bags, clearing customs and rechecking, and any missed connection becomes your cost rather than the airline's.

How long is the layover?

Under two hours through Dubai or Abu Dhabi, about three through Doha, and roughly an hour and forty minutes on the Air India Delhi routing. Short layovers save time and leave nothing spare if the inbound runs late. If you are travelling with children or need assistance we will build a longer connection instead. Tell us who is travelling before we quote.

Can I earn miles on a consolidator fare?

Sometimes, and we will not promise it. Consolidator fares often sit in booking classes that earn reduced miles or none at all, and the airline decides that, not us. If your status or accrual matters more than the fare, say so and we will price the published fare alongside ours so you can see the gap.
