Bangalore itineraries are where two baggage systems collide.
Air India: on US originating international fares, Economy Value carries one bag of 23kg and Classic and Flex carry two, with no single bag over 32kg and 7 to 8kg in the cabin.
Emirates: standard economy from the US carries two bags in the 23kg range. On India originating fares the structure is by weight instead, Saver at 25kg, Flex at 30kg and Flex Plus at 35kg.
Qatar Airways: two bags of 23kg on Classic fares and above from the US, one on Economy Lite. India originating tiers are weight based, Classic 25kg, Convenience 30kg, Comfort 35kg.
Etihad: two bags of 23kg on standard US economy fares. India originating fares run Basic at no free allowance, Value 25kg, Comfort 30kg, Deluxe 40kg.

When to book
Peak on this route is October through December, which folds Diwali and the year end holidays together, and June through August when schools are out. January through March is soft, September is soft, and most of November eases once Diwali clears.
Because every itinerary connects and the total is close to a full day, booking early buys a better connection rather than only a better fare. The good layovers, three hours rather than fifty minutes or nine, go first. Give us a date range rather than one date if you can.

A Gulf or European routing can be faster or cheaper on a given week, and for a traveler flying alone with hand baggage and a firm meeting on the other side, that can be the right call.
