How late can you actually book a ticket?
Same day is often possible, depending on the departure city and the airline's own ticketing cutoff, which usually falls a few hours before flight time. The real limits are document related rather than technical. A visa not yet issued, an expired passport, or an OCI card awaiting reissue will stop a same day booking whatever the seat map says. Is a one stop cheaper than a nonstop at short notice?
Very often. Nonstop seats go first on these routes, so when the nonstop is operating on your date the last seats on it sit in expensive fare classes. Can I change a last minute ticket if my plans move again?
Assume it is restricted unless we tell you otherwise. Our fares are consolidator fares: cheaper than published fares, with tighter rules. Change fees, limited change windows, and in some cases no changes at all. If there is a real chance your date moves again, say so before we book. A changeable fare costs more, and in this situation it is often worth it.
Do I need my visa in hand before you can issue the ticket?
For most travellers, yes in practical terms. Airlines can deny boarding if the documents for entry to India are not in order, and the carrier bears the cost of a refused passenger, so check in staff are strict. Indian passport holders and OCI cardholders are straightforward. If you are waiting on an e-Visa or a consular visa, tell us the application date.
